My interest in photography began by documenting my work in the far North. Once our children were born I wanted to slow time down by creating memories of our sons Samuel and Sebastian as they were growing up. I've experimented with processing my black and white images in the lab and done lots of film photography.

For the past 12 years, I've only been shooting digital and have made the switch to mastering digital processing and editing. I like shooting in studio because I have control over the lighting. My love of the outdoors means that I will still shoot in natural light whenever the weather cooperates! My camera goes wherever I go....

In September of 2017, we moved to the East coast and have made our new home in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In this incredibly beautiful place, I plan to continue doing what I love most, making family portraits and photographing weddings. In my spare time however, you will find me out and about photographing landscapes as I cannot pass up the opportunities that present themselves right here on my doorstep...
