I am professional portrait and wedding photographer with very high standards. An artist at heart, my goal is to capture the magic of your wedding day with images that shout out "They love each other". I believe that is the only thing that really matters.
My photographs will tell your story in a way that genuinely represents you. I observe, document and seize every opportunity to create powerful images using the setting as my canvas to your best advantage.
My interest in cameras began at a very young age. While hospitalized in Italy, my Dad presented me with a camera for my sixth birthday. Confined to a bed for many months and not able to speak a word of Italian, I had plenty of opportunity to practice my portrait skills on the medical staff! I soon came to realize that images were a powerful communication tool.
Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec in a French neighborhood, my spirit of adventure took me to Northern Canada where I met my husband. With my camera close at hand, the North provided me with many photo opportunities. Once our children were born I wanted to slow time down by creating memories of our sons as they were growing up.
I have been shooting for over 30 years, made the switch to digital in 2006 and went pro 8 years ago. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of Canada. In September of 2017, we moved to the East Coast and made our new home in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In this beautiful setting, I plan to continue doing what I love most, taking incredible images of the amazing people of Nova Scotia. In my spare time, you might run into me exploring the coastline camera at the ready.
Other goals I have set for myself now that we have unpacked....
Learn to kayak, try sailing, take a conversational Mandarin class and most of all fit into maritime culture and community.
